Jillian Reiner, PLA

Jillian recently joined the team and is heading up our Landscape Architecture department. She is a Professional Landscape Architect with over 6 years’ experience and has a passion for creating meaningful spaces. Jillian has experience in both the public and private sector. Her most recent work includes park master planning, trail heads, trail design, site-planning for commercial property’s and residential subdivisions. She worked closely with biologists, planners and civil engineers and believes the collaborative process of working at a firm with multiple disciplines is enjoyable and beneficial for the clients.

Her background in art and a Master’s Degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Minnesota brings a unique perspective to projects. Whether it will be assisting in designing public spaces everyone in the community can enjoy or your own private backyard she will approach every design project with enthusiasm, attention to detail, and our clients needs in mind.

Jillian is married and has two children. She enjoys spending time with her family and is looking forward to getting to know Alexandria. She also enjoys: golfing, biking, camping, fishing, snowboarding and being on the lakes. Jillian is a member of our local Kiwanis chapter and is looking forward to getting more involved.

Ben Zehrer, PE

Ben has joined the team as a Civil Engineer. He is a licensed Professional Engineer with 8 years of design, project management, and construction experience on a wide range of public infrastructure projects throughout the Midwest and Northeast states.

Ben brings a wide-breadth of knowledge in civil, geotechnical and structural engineering, as well as construction management and inspection experience to the team.

Ben grew up in nearby Melrose, MN and has lived and worked in Minneapolis, New York City, and rural Pennsylvania. He now lives in Alexandria with his family, and is beginning to get more involved in the community. Ben is currently a member of the local Toastmasters club.

Education: University of Minnesota at Twin Cities, Bachelor of Civil Engineering
