Hagstrom Engineering was contracted to provide Land Consulting and Civil Engineering services for a 680 +/- SF Scooter’s Coffee Drive-Thru in Alexandria, MN.  Due to the City of Alexandria Zoning criteria, Hagstrom Engineering represented Scooter’s Coffee before the City of Alexandria Planning Commission to receive a Conditional Use Permit (CUP) approval for the project. After the CUP was awarded, Hagstrom Engineering completed a preliminary site layout for optimal site visibility and roadway connection.

Civil Engineering services provided by Hagstrom Engineering included a vehicle drive-thru, parking, sidewalk, trash enclosure, drainage components, utility connections, roadway access, and temporary erosion and sediment control measures.  The project is within the City of Alexandria but also fronts a State Highway, therefore a Traffic Control Plan was also provided to, and approved by, Minnesota Department of Transportation.  Hagstrom Engineering coordinated with Scooter’s Coffee, the City of Alexandria, Alexandria Lake Area Sanitary District, Alexandria Light and Power, and the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
